The powder does a good job of killing the BB's anywhere from a couple of days to a couple of weeks, IT WILL NOT Kill on contact but use it to cover corners, bed frames, and areas where you feel Bed Bugs are present. One of the bigger downsides I actually found is that this also kills house centipedes and spiders, why is that a bad thing you ask.. Well for one these guys have actually helped me in my battle against the Bed Bugs, Spiders and Centipedes love eating these evil bastards.Another downside is that the powder is a visible eye sore, I would recommend vacuuming before you invite people over but that will actually cut down on its effectiveness unless you plan on re applying immediately. I read all about bed bugs on the internet and was very distressed. Both my brand new couches were infested. I originally thought it was from the factory until she came over one day after they slept over (john does) house a few nights in a row covered head to toe in bites. Their friend has since thrown out the furniture. My older daughter and I searched and found about 5 or 6 fully grown bed bugs hiding in the cloth parts of my leather couches. A tiny nest of real little ones were found hiding in the zipper flaps and I was near tears because of how very hard it was to see them. I cleaned, sprayed and vacuumed the furniture until the sweat poured from both our faces. I repeated the process two times a week for about 3 weeks. Like changing your sheets weekly, vaccuming, and using the bedbug spray 2, water base. After about a month you will see. I would vaccum every other day for about a month, checking every day, after about days I started to see dried up bedbugs.. so don't give up. |
