I assume the readers who gave it 1 star didn't read it all the way or didn't peel off the booklet to read the rest! If you don't like this one, try CUTTER brand - I only bought this as CUTTER was out of stock, but looks like it works just as well. No mosquitoes in the yard after 30 min. We'll see how long its effects last.There is a valve to turn water of and off, but also there is another tiny valve to activate the dilutor on left. You just turn it with L letter facing up than push it like a pin into the assembly for the dilutor to open up - this is a needle which controls flow of the chemical. The hose never popped off for me because I held it right where the hose attaches to the sprayer, not holding it by the handle - it's more comfortable that way and allow me to yank the hose behind me. I assume that it popped off for the others when they were pulling the hose behind them. FYI - chemical flows fast, so pace... There are two controls (not just one) and both must be in their proper positions to achieve the expected result. One is for water flow and the other is to enable/disable water mixing with the product. I'm angry, to say the least. The nozzle just doesn't work. It sprays water but not insect killer. Then it comes off. I finally transferred the product to an Ortho Max container. Time will tell if the bug killer itself kills any bugs. I would not waist my time with this product again. |
