My wife wouldn't let me use commercial insecticide to go after them because of the cats and our child. Flyswatters and homemade flytraps simply weren't getting the job done.I finally remembered that pyrethrins are organic; that they are extracted from chrysanthemum petals. I did some research online and confirmed that pyrethrin is safe for use around animals and pets. It's harmless to mammals but is a neurotoxin to insects. I'd found my weapon of mass destruction. Question was, did anyone make an insecticide that was pyrethrin-based, rather than the synthetic perethrins used in most commercial insecticides which are NOT safe around pets and children?
